Info Sessions & Advising
Step 1: Globetrekker Info Sessions
Globetrekker informational sessions are held in the Study Abroad Programs office most days (unless the University is closed or we’re having a major Study Abroad event). These sessions cover the basics of studying abroad, from the locations and types of programs that are available to financial aid, scholarships, and other funding opportunities. Students must attend a Globetrekker before they come in for individual advising. Check the calendar on the left hand side of your screen for the most update-to-date calendar of Globetrekker sessions & other Study Abroad events!
Additional Globetrekker sessions can be arranged if your schedule does not allow you to attend one of these times.
Step 2: Individual Advising Walk-In Hours
Individual Advising is on a walk-in basis–no appointments are necessary. However, students must attend a Globetrekker before they come in for individual advising.
Monday – Friday 9 am – noon; 1 pm – 5 pm (again, unless the University is closed or there’s a major Study Abroad event)
Advisors are rarely available outside of these hours; please do not drop by outside of these hours with a quick question or if you are in need of a quick signature. If the times listed are not convenient for you, please email an advisor to set up an appointment..
Occasionally it may be necessary to make emergency last minute cancellations of advising times. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
