Meeting with a Peer Advisor is your first step in studying abroad! Learn about the basics of studying abroad opportunities, how to research programs, and explore scholarships from a study abroad alumni. Find drop-in sessions on PIN or schedule a meeting using the links below:

Planning for a future study abroad program? Our team is working remotely because of COVID-19 and is offering online study abroad advising. Study Abroad Advisors are here to guide you through the entire study abroad process, from choosing a program and applying to scholarships to making sure your credits transfer in and readjusting to life back on campus when you return.
General Study Abroad Appointment | For first-time meeting with a study abroad advisor (ideally after a peer advising appointment.) |
Exchange Study Abroad Advisement | For students that want to participate in exchange programs. |
Non-GSU Study Abroad Advisement | For students that want to participate in a Non-GSU Program. Non-GSU programs include third-party (AIFS, API, CEA, ISA), direct enrollment, USG Programs, international internships, and independent study. |
Study Abroad Scholarship Advising | Appointments to discuss study abroad scholarships and how to meet with financial aid. |
Gilman Scholarship Advisement | Students needing an appointment for the Gilman. |
Returnee Study Abroad Appointment | For students that have studied abroad and have returned and would like to meet with a study abroad advisor. |
Returnee Transfer Credit Advisement | For students that have returned from studying abroad and have questions regarding transfer credit. |
