Meeting with a Peer Advisor is your first step in studying abroad! Learn about the basics of studying abroad opportunities, how to research programs, and explore scholarships from a study abroad alumni. Drop in to meet with a Peer Advisor anytime during these hours:

2. Meet with a Study Abroad Advisor

Planning for a future study abroad program? Our team is working remotely because of COVID-19 and is offering online study abroad advising. Study Abroad Advisors are here to guide you through the entire study abroad process, from choosing a program and applying to scholarships to making sure your credits transfer in and readjusting to life back on campus when you return.

General Study Abroad Appointment  For students meeting with a study abroad advisor for the first time. These appointments will cover study abroad basics. 
Follow-up Study Abroad Appointment  For students who have met with a study abroad advisor and know which program they want to participate in or have follow-up questions about their program. If you are participating in exchange or non-GSU please choose that option. 
Exchange Study Abroad Appointment  For students that are interested in or know that they would like to participate in a GSU exchange programPlease schedule this option if you are beginning or continuing the exchange process. 
Non-GSU Study Abroad Advisement  For students that are interested in or know that they would like to participate in a Non-GSU Program. Non-GSU programs include third-party (AIFS, API, CEA, ISA), direct enrollment, USG Programs, international internships, and independent study
Funding Your Study Abroad Advisement  For students with questions about funding study abroad or study abroad scholarships. 
Gilman Scholarship Advisement  For students in the process of applying for the Gilman scholarship. 
Returnee Study Abroad Appointment  For students that have returned from study abroad and would like to meet with a study abroad advisor regarding their program. 
Returnee Transfer Credit Advisement  For students that have returned from studying abroad and have questions or concerns regarding their transfer credit.
